But if you think about it more thoroughly, it is used more often than you think.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The field of AI is interesting and is, if not the Present yet, certainly the Future. In the discussion that will take place at the Athens Science Festival with the title &#8220;AI, are you here?&#8221;, which will be moderated by the journalist <strong>Yiannis Rizopoulos<\/strong>, they will try to outline the &#8220;next day&#8221; as well as the socio-economic impact of AI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Artificial Intelligence or -more precisely- the much wider ecosystem under or near its \u201cumbrella\u201d is already playing a significant role in our everyday activities. Exploiting Machine Learning, Robotics and Automation, Big Data and Analytics, etc. it is \u201cup-scaling\u201d life quality in many ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multi-targeted AI relieves us from all Dull, Dangerous and Dirty jobs and provides instant help for much better decision-making, on almost everything. Face ID on devices, the content of advertisements or news that will appear to each user according to their preferences, the voice command and much more that you do not identify at a first.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This session\u2019s aspiration is to present some use cases and best practices for both enterprises and citizens-final users, applications that are either already in use or just knocking on our \u201cdoor\u201d, ready to enter our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The enterprises taking part in this session and presenting different AI applications, are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gerobo.eu\/\"><b>Gerobo<\/b><\/a><b> (Gerasimos Gerolymatos), <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sleed.com\/\"><b>Sleed<\/b><\/a><b> (Kleanthis Roumeliotis), <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.quadible.co.uk\/\"><b>Quadible<\/b><\/a><b> (Niklas Palaghias) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagos.com\/\"><b>Magos<\/b><\/a><b> (Greg Agriopoulos), <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">while on behalf of consortia working on European research projects, there will be representatives from <\/span><b>Shapes (Vassilis Giannakopoulos), <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridges-horizon.eu\/\"><b>Bridges<\/b><\/a> <b>(Nikos Achilleopoulos)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 <\/span><b>Bacchus (Dimitris Papageorgiou). <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">session will be moderated by journalist <\/span><b>Yannis Rizopoulos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who will also have a \u201cfireside chat\u201d with Guest Star, Special Secretary for Strategic Foresight at Presidency of the Government of the Hellenic Republic, <\/span><b>Yannis Mastrogeorgiou.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday, October 22 | Technopolis City of Athens | Athens Science Festival<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you come across &#8220;artificial intelligence&#8221; (AI), you think it has nothing to do with your everyday life.
