In recent years, with technology advancing at a rapid pace, we have all encountered Artificial Intelligence, in one way or the other. But how can these modern “tools” be utilized within the classroom? If you are an <\/span>educator<\/b> and want to know more about emerging technologies that promise to upgrade the learning process, we invite you to participate in the <\/span>ASF23 <\/b>workshops: <\/span>Education, Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT<\/b>, specifically designed for educators!<\/span><\/p>\n

At this year’s <\/span>Athens Science Festival<\/b><\/a>, on <\/span>Wednesday, October 11<\/b>th<\/b> in the afternoon, workshops for educators will take place. We will discover and discuss the challenges and benefits arising from the integration of Artificial Intelligence into education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athena Research Center<\/b><\/a> is organizing a workshop aiming to familiarize educators with new technologies, based on the results of the project <\/span>AI4Edu<\/b><\/a> (ERASMUS-LS)<\/b>. We will have the opportunity to interact with a virtual assistant and explore how it can contribute to various tasks, making the work of educators more effective. <\/span>Education and ChatGPT <\/i><\/b>|<\/span>17.00 – 18.50<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

How can Artificial Intelligence lead to the development of a learning model focused on the specific needs of each learner? What does chocolate have to do with all of this? In a unique workshop, we will get to know the European program <\/span>augMENTORS<\/b><\/a>, which aims to improve the educational process using modern technologies. <\/span>Chocolate and Artificial Intelligence <\/i><\/b>| <\/span>19.00 – 20.20<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Finally, we will have the opportunity to participate in a <\/span>panel discussion<\/b> on the challenges posed by the entry of new technologies into both the educational process and our daily lives. How can educators introduce young people to the digital world and guide them in this new reality? <\/span>Participants:<\/i><\/b> Lilian Mitrou (Professor at the University of the Aegean), Christos Xenakis (Professor at the University of Piraeus), and Kostas Karpouzis (Assistant Professor at Panteion University). The discussion will be moderated by journalist Giannis Rizopoulos. <\/span>AI – The real challenges <\/i><\/b>| <\/span>20.30 – 21.30<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
