Would you like to get up close to the impressive and colorful sculpture of this animal and take photos with it?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this year&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.old.athens-science-festival.gr\/en\/\"><b>Athens Science Festival<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhmc.uoc.gr\/en\/\"><b>Natural History Museum of Crete at the University of Crete<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will transport us to the prehistoric and geological past of the beautiful island! In the venue <\/span><b>Machine-works<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, we are thrilled to host a dinosaur sculpture as part of the <\/span><b>interactive exhibition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individuals of all ages are invited to the unique exhibition &#8220;<\/span><b><i>Hanging Out with the Giant Dinosaur!<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; to discover everything about this magnificent creature. When and where did it live? What was its diet? When did it become extinct? All these questions and much more will be revealed through games, videos, and tabletop activities. Learning becomes fun, as young explorers will get in touch with the sciences of Paleontology and Geology!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Join us to hear the fascinating story of little Eleni, a girl who lived in Sitia, Crete, and was the first to discover fossils of this remarkable creature. How did her keen observational skills contribute to science and enrich our knowledge of the island&#8217;s history?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sculpture of the animal was created by the sculptor <\/span><\/i><b><i>Konstantinos Pagomenos<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the tracing was carried out by <\/span><\/i><b><i>Eri Andaloudaki<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><\/i><b><i>Niki Paximada<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The exhibition was created with the generous sponsorship of <\/span><\/i><b><i>CHALKIADAKIS AE<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
